I use to love these knives but the last two were very poor quality. The first one and second ones I bought were excellent. They were sharp and opened easily. But, the last two I bought they were dull as if they had been used before and the last one I ordered was dull and the spring assist doesn’t work.

The blade has a sliding button on the spine that will lock the blade in the open or closed position. Theoretically, this is an interesting idea, but in practice it caused me some issues. I pulled the knife from my pocket and tried to open it one-handed while holding something with my other hand. The blade had become locked while in my pocket with other items. The sliding button is a friction lock and my fingers were very cold. It was wedged in there well enough that I could not get it to unlock with my one cold hand. Then, once I got it open, spent several minutes using it, and tried to close it, the knife wouldn't close. That little sliding button had locked the blade open. It's meant to be a safety feature but ends up just getting in the way. Additionally, that little button doesn't feel good in the palm. Not only is it an unusual protrusion, but the button shifts position making the grip feel different as you use the knife. The blade has holes through it. I'm not sure if that affects the structural integrity of the knife (I didn't experience that issue), but it does make it very hard to clean. I got some gunk and dirt on the knife and I had difficulty getting it out of those little holes. The belt clip does not appear to be removable. If you wanted to remove or reposition the belt clip you may be able to disassemble the knife to get to the screw in the inside, but it isn't going to be easy if it's even possible. The spring action is great for opening the knife, but mine is so forceful that it makes closing the knife difficult and dangerous with one hand. The knife does appear to be a quality build. The materials and craftsmanship seem quite good, but I'm not happy with the design and practical use of this knife.
